The holiday season is just around the corner, we have several events coming up in the community and the at the shop.

Family Movie Nights

We are now holding regular monthly movie nights. They are kindly being hosted by Larkspur Elementary school. Next up is Up! and Star Trek 2009. This will be help on 20th November. Details below. We're inside for the winter but with the warm summer nights we'll be outside with the big screen, barbecues and fun!

Join Us!

Come down and join us for a delicious ice cream or smoothie or try out a Monkey Face sundae. Winter opening hours are now 11-7 Tuesday - Sunday and until 8pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
We have ice cream from Lik's Ice Cream in Denver. Jay from Lik's hand makes his ice cream and hand turns his flavors in to the ice cream.
Flavors include

• Millionaires - chocolate, butterscotch and pecan
• Cookie Dough - you know what that has in it
• Candy Land - bubblegum flavor with crunchy lolly bits
• Butter Pecan - another obvious one
• Mint Choc Chip - and another
• Sleepless - a delicious coffee bean based cream
• Peanut Butter Cup Chocolate
• Lemon
• Banana
• Raspberry Sorbet
• Mango Sorbet
• Jack Daniels Choc Chip - yep its alcofrolic!
• Caramel Irish Stout - made with the famous black stuff!

Of course the old favorites, chocolate, strawberry and vanilla are there too.

Flavor of the Month

Seasonal favorite Pumpkin has arrived, packed with wintery spices and delicate pumpkin flavors. Check it out!

One of our most popular items since we opened has been our Monkey Shakes. Not just the usual Chocolate, Strawberry or Vanilla oh no. Pick your favorite ice cream or combination and we'll shake it. If you fancy a CandyLand or Caramel Irish Stout (yes, we have made one) or maybe Mint and Chocolate, just holler and we'll whip up a delicious creamy shake in a minute.

Smoothies

We also have 5 delicious smoothies on offer. Based around freshly frozen fruits such as strawberry, raspberry, peach, mango and blackberry. You pick a base juice, orange, apple or cranberry and whether you want frozen yogurt or not and we'll whizz you up a healthy smoothie in a jiffy.

DVDs

The DVD rental machine from Red Carpet DVD. has been a hot property since we opened. Lots of the latest releases, of course Friday and Saturday are real busy so get in early to avoid disappointment. You can check out what's available in the machine in real time here. So you can, drop into the Larkspur Pizzaria (next door) for a pizza, then drop in on us for desert and and a movie!
